  Tonight I was visiting The Brick store at 1487 Regent Ave in Winnipeg with my wife. We found nice mermaid blanket for $15 and want to buy it as Christmas gift for our daughter. On cash register they asked for our phone number. I wasn't happy with that but we gave them both our cell numbers and as returning customer hooping that it would be all. After typing something for 5 minutes he asked for our driver licenses... I refused and askew why they need that, I don't need any accounts or anything just want to pay for goods and leave. Salesman was insisting on driver license and told us that he does not want to sell us anything unless we are in system. At that point I asked to talk to manager and he wasn't willing to call him. So we just felt so disappointing and left store without purchasing a gift and treated really bad. Also complain to Consumer protection office is filed!
