    2019-10-01, by Shannon Thompson
I bought a used 2008 Malibu from Winnipeg Kia two years ago. It was advertised as "keyless entry" however, they only had one FOB that worked and the other one was broken. They tried to tell me they only had to give me the one working FOB, which was not really working properly. In addition, some of the windows would not go up or down, the locks were all messed up, and the car had a major exhaust leak. Initially they gave me the safety for a completely different vehicle, then then after I pointed it out, they gave me another safety gave the all clear on the exhaust issue. I had to fight with them to get them to fix the locks and windows and give me properly working FOBs, then I had to get another dealership to check the car over because at this point, the trust was gone. The other dealership said the exhaust issue should not have passed the safety, so Winnipeg Kia had no choice but to fix it. During the time after I put a down payment on the car and was fighting with them to fix the problems, they wouldn't even acknowledge me when I came into the dealership, as if these things were MY fault! Now they have phoned me for two years, several times, at work, at home and on my cell phone, and emailed me, trying to get me to sell them back my car and suck me into another car. For two years, I have told them I don't have the car anymore and to quit calling me! The harassment continued. Today, yet again, I get a call from "Dan" at Winnipeg Kia, trying to get me to buy another car and trade mine in. He was SO RUDE to me. I tried to tell him that I have already asked them to quit contacting me. He repeated everything I was saying and talked over me. I highly advise everyone to stay away from Winnipeg Kia. This is the worst dealership I have ever dealt with. They treat you like garbage if you have a problem and they try to manipulate you and make you feel like you are a bad person. There are other dealerships that do not pull these tactics. After all these issues I've had with them, I highly recommend you go elsewhere for a vehicle.
